Band Engineering of Photocatalytic BiVO4 with Modified Vanadium States via Potassium Chloride Addition during Hydro-Thermal Synthesis and Post-Annealing

چکیده

The monoclinic BiVO4 in a powder state was prepared via hydrothermal method, with the addition of KCl as structure-directing agent. as-prepared sample calcined at different temperatures (400–600 °C), either air or Ar gas. It is found that, though morphology and crystal structure mostly remain unchanged, bandgap properties are modified during calcination. A detailed analysis surface chemical states optical absorption reveals involvement tetravalent vanadium ions oxygen vacancies cause band modification. to be tunable changing calcination condition, well concentration precursor. photocatalytic samples greatly enhanced precursor, but degraded by post-annealing, where residual Cl may act an inhibitor. photoactivity explained terms favorable faceting, modification, heterojunction BiVO4/BiOCl.

Thermal engineering of FAPbI3 perovskite material via radiative thermal annealing and in situ XRD

Lead halide perovskites have emerged as successful optoelectronic materials with high photovoltaic power conversion efficiencies and low material cost. However, substantial challenges remain in the scalability, stability and fundamental understanding of the materials. Here we present the application of radiative thermal annealing, an easily scalable processing method for synthesizing formamidin...

Synthesis and characterization of Nickel (II) Chloride nanoparticles with the study of their thermal behavior

In this research nanoparticles of Nickel (II) Chloride were synthesized and characterized using fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectra. Nanoparticles of Nickel (II) Chloride were prepared by using of ball mill device. A ball mill is one kind of grinding machine, and it is a device in which media balls and solid materials (the materials to be ground) are placed in a container. In the researc...
